Seattle in Review: Cafe

          The Ugly Mug Cafe in the University District is my favorite cafe in Seattle (so far!). It's a little hole in the wall that will not leave you disappointed. They have delicious and unique drink flavors like mexican mocha and lavender chai! The atmosphere is super homey and cozy. The decor and furniture is an eclectic mismatch of items. Each table has a glass removable top and customers write and draw cute little notes on anything they want and then stick it under the glass. The result is a collage of notes and drawings to enjoy while you drink your coffee. Their lunches and baked goods are also delicious. They have great lunch specials with fresh salads, sandwiches, soups, cookies, and breads– all homemade! I went to this little cafe to study all the time. They are actually remodeling the cafe and I am excited to see the changes when I go back up to Seattle!
