SAN DIEGO

         M and I had a wonderful weekend in San Diego. We stayed with family and did some exploring. We went to the famous Mission Beach and it was quite a site to see. Although it wasn't super sunny, we saw lots of interesting beach goers, including a fair share of college students enjoying their Spring Breaks. We also went to Old Town and got some delicious Mexican food, and in the evening we headed over to the Gas Lamp district and boy was it crazy. We only went for a movie but because of St. Pattie's Day there were tons of people. It was also good people watching. We hope to go back some time and enjoy the night life there a little more. The last day we headed over to the San Diego Zoo. It was amazing! So many animals and cool exhibits. It's a huge zoo, so our feet were killing us by the end. Now we are back at home chilling out for the rest of the break. M had her wisdom teeth out and I some how came down with a nasty cold (woohoo Spring Break!), so we are obviously partying pretty hard around here. Hopefully I quickly get past this cold and M makes a speedy recovery. I think we both need this restful week.
