A few weeks back we went for a beautiful day hike to Rattlesnake Ledge. Although there were no rattlesnakes to be found, there were lots of people, which was a little annoying. It's good to know that all types of folks are out enjoying nature instead of inside, but we were hoping for a more quiet hike. Oh well, the view was worth all the people. Goodness it was gorgeous up there. A blue, green lake with green forests all around, it was awe inspiring. We're headed out on a backpack trip in the next couple of weeks and it is on a more secluded trail. We Pacific Northwesterners really have it made. We live in an amazing area and I think it's easy to forget it, especially when living in the city.
