Nica Dance in Matagalpa

        Here is a little snippet of where I am currently living, Matagalpa, Nicaragua. I went to an event with my classmates where we got to see traditional Nicaraguan dance put on by a dance school. It was very fun and adorable. There are lots of types of Nicaraguan dance, many stemming from historical contexts like Spanish invasion, coffee growing, and agricultural celebrations. Can't wait to share more pictures of my home here in beautiful Matagalpa!
